The company is a small business owned by service-disabled veterans, specializing in technology development and comprehensive joint warfighter training by utilizing the expertise, experience, and skills of its personnel. Currently seeking an Athletic Trainer who will perform the initial evaluation, design individual training programs, and establish records for all fighter aircrew personnel as well as provide rehabilitative services to individual fighter aircrew to strengthen the core musculoskeletal (MSK) system to enhance resistance to neck and back injury.

Seeking an Athletic Trainer to help design an MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education program as part of an overall health maintenance program to enhance injury resistance.

The Role
Provide performance enhancement and tailored strength and conditioning programs.
Conduct initial evaluations and design individualized training programs for fighter aircrew personnel.
Maintain records for all fighter aircrew personnel.
Offer prehabilitative services to strengthen the musculoskeletal (MSK) system and reduce neck and back injury risks.
Develop MSK strengthening and healthy lifestyle education programs to enhance injury resistance.
Refer individuals to advanced medical care when necessary.
Advise unit commanders and personnel on injury prevention strategies.
Identify opportunities for improvement in fitness and injury prevention programs.
Develop protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fitness programs.
The Background Profile
U.S. Citizen
Masters Degree in Athletic Training and must be a current licensed Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) process required
2 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer
Extensive hands-on experience with professional and / or collegiate sports teams
Experience and certification in the field of strength and conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association is strongly preferred

Strong oral and written communication abilities to effectively engage with peers, external agencies, vendors, providers, and Military Health System (MHS) stakeholders
Ability todeliver impactful briefings and presentations on neck and back pain prevention
Skilled in conducting research and developing data-driven metrics to assess and enhance prevention strategies
Proficient in conveying complex information clearly to support effective and efficient pain prevention initiatives
