Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients in your designated territory. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and upselling our products and services to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales, technical sales, and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within your territory.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand their needs.
- Engage in territory sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Provide technical product knowledge to clients, assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Upsell additional products or services based on customer requirements and feedback.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or a related field, preferably in B2B environments.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and product offerings is highly desirable.
- Experience with inside sales techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software such as Salesforce for managing leads and tracking performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
