The Role – Project Manager
Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery, the mission of this role is to take 100% responsibility for managing and delivering projects as Project Manager to ensure successful execution. You are responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and with highest customer satisfaction.
- Maintain project scope, schedule, and budget from sales handover to customer acceptance
- Assess project risks and coordinate plan to mitigate
- Identify critical path items and coordinate execution to schedule
- Develop and communicate project schedule with key milestone dates to external and internal customers
- Track and communicate variances in budget throughout project life cycle
- Develop material and operational improvements with the customer to deliver superior quality systems
- Coordinate schedule execution to milestone dates with internal groups.
- Forecast all project materials and services for expected date that Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and related Recognized Revenue/Earned Value based on key milestone completion dates
- Act as key contact and face of BlastOne expertise in communications with customers
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in managing capital projects for industrial facilities and/or equipment supply.
- Understanding of project management tools and procedures
- 10 years of experience with management of installation, startup and commissioning of industrial projects
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Excellent customer management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Strong leadership and the ability build strong teamwork
- Strong project management methodology
- Strong understanding of industrial projects and equipment
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability/Knowledge to work with power tools
- Ability to operate manlift equipment
- Approximately 10-20% travel
- Several trips per assigned project based on site needs for successful installation and commissioning
