What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager I - Reliability Engineer position at Blattner Company?
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Manages Reliability Engineer Team to deliver production environment changes, ensure application uptime SLAs, and provide timely solutions for escalated incidents.
- Works with the RE Team to bridge development to production using CI/CD frameworks to ensure stability and minimal downtime to customers.
- Assists with coordination of Production Release Management framework & communications.
- Leads Major Incident responses including incident bridge call coordination, communications, and post incident reviews.
- Works with Help Desk Manager to track escalated incident trends and Operating Level/Service Level Agreements (OLAs/SLAs) to improve application reliability for our end users.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field, or combinations of related education and work experience required.
- Four or more years of technical leadership experience effectively managing or leading IT teams.
