My client is a well-established construction company specializing in high-rise multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial developments. Known for delivering complex, high-quality projects, they focus on large-scale multifamily communities, luxury condominiums, and mixed-use towers. As they continue expanding in the Orlando market, they are actively seeking experienced Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with high-rise construction experience to support and lead upcoming developments.
Role Overview:
Candidates will bring strong experience managing or assisting in the execution of high-rise construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Project Managers will oversee the full project lifecycle, while Assistant Project Managers will provide key support in coordination, documentation, and subcontractor management. Roles are open at both levels depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee or assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of high-rise construction projects
- Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and critical path milestones
- Coordinate subcontractor buyouts, contracts, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Collaborate closely with field teams, superintendents, and ownership groups
- Lead or support project meetings, RFIs, submittals, and documentation workflows
- Identify and address potential risks, delays, and cost impacts
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on high-rise multifamily or mixed-use construction projects (15 stories preferred)
- Solid understanding of vertical concrete structures, building systems, and luxury finishes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specs, and contracts
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- OSHA 30 and familiarity with permitting processes preferred
- Proficiency in construction management platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
