What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Superintendent position at Blayze Group?
Our client a leading commercial general contractor based in Baton Rouge, LA are looking to add to their team a Superintendent. The Superintendent will be accountable for the progress and successful completion of a wide range of commercial sites on time, under budget, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and other contractual agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute pre-job plan
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and production meetings
- Determine construction techniques to be used
- Oversee quality control of all construction
- Maintain project schedule creating a 2-3 week look ahead
- Appropriately allocate manpower and resources
- Manage all vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis. Identifying and resolving problems as they arise
- Maintain a clean and orderly job site
Experience:
- 5 years’ minimum commercial experience on projects over $15M with ground up experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Stable career history
- Degree in Construction Management or other related field preferred
Compensation:
- $110,000 - $155,000 base salary full package
