Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Prepare food items according to company standards while ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms by regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
