Overview
We are seeking a part-time dedicated and organized Sports Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sports programs and activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a passion for details, organization and communication. The Sports Administrative Assistant will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks while fostering an engaging environment for staff, athletes and families.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of program wide practices, tournaments, trainings and other events in team communication software
- Collect and keep track of required athlete forms/registrations/memberships and waivers to complete team rostering with guidance from Directors
- Collect and keep track of required coaching forms/registrations and certifications to establish AAU/NCAA compliance with guidance from Directors
- Provide program support to respond to inquires or concerns as appropriate
- Provide support by setting up and assisting in running home tournaments
- Manage the uniform ordering process and distribution for the entire program
- Other duties as assigned

- Must have high self-motivation and good organization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication is imperative
- Must be able to manage time effectively and demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to problem solve, make effective and timely decisions

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external audiences
