About the Role

Tech Stack: JavaScript (Next.js, React), Python, PostgreSQL

Our client is reshaping ticketing for music festivals and nightlife events. Having recently secured early-stage funding, they are scaling rapidly and hiring a full-time software engineer to help build and optimize their platform. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with technical leadership, collaborate with designers and engineers, and create an outstanding product experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop smooth, high-performance front-end interfaces with a strong focus on user experience.
• Architect and maintain complex back-end infrastructure to support operational workflows.
• Own feature development from concept to deployment, impacting the entire product stack.
• Leverage user insights and data analytics to guide product improvements.
• Build web scraping systems to ensure access to real-time event information.

What They’re Looking For

• Deep curiosity about software development and an eagerness to work across the stack.
• Experience taking ownership of projects or managing significant codebase components.
• A mindset of fast execution and continuous iteration.
• Proficiency with Python, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Commitment to seed startup hours, i.e., up to 60 hours per week or more.
