| QUALIFICATIONS: |
Shall communicate effectively both orally and in writing. |

Shall have a high school diploma or GED. |

| GENERAL DUTIES: |
Shall work under the immediate supervision of the food service manager |

to carry out the goals of the Food Service Program. |
|
|
| |
Shall cooperate with the school principal in the implementation of school |
| |
policies. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Shall maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the |
| |
performance of the job. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Shall report any safety hazard to the food service manager. |
|
| |
Shall react positively to directives. |
|
|
|
| |
Shall carry out assignments in a timely manner without undue checking. |
| |
Shall adhere to time schedules as set forth. |
|
|
|
| |
Shall have a willingness to cooperate with the principal and staff. |
|
| |
Shall maintain confidentiality of student information. |
|
|
| |
Shall adhere to School Board of Education Policies and Procedures. |
| |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| SPECIFIC DUTIES: |
Shall learn the safe, proper and efficient use of all kitchen equipment under |
| |
the direction of the food service manager. |
|
|
|
| |
Shall carry out assignments according to the work schedule . |
|
| |
Shall help fellow workers in completing tasks that are necessary to serve |
| |
attractive, nutritional meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and |
| |
warmth. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Shall continue to improve in the preparation and serving of foods. |
|
| |
Shall seek to continuously learn more about nutrition through attendance |
| |
Shall complete seven (7) hours of foodservice certification with annual |
| |
re-certification. |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
at professional meetings and workshops concerning School Food Service. |
| |
Shall perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. |
|
| |

180 days (hours per day vary with the placement) |

Commensurate with the Ashland Independent Schools Classified Salary |
