Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position with school districts in the Aurora, CO area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact on students' lives!

Requirements

  • Must meet all local and state certification requirements to work as an SLPA in Colorado.
  • Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
  • Ability to pass background checks as required by state and district policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in the implementation of therapy plans.
  • Assist in speech and language screenings, assessments, and individualized student programs.
  • Document and track student progress, and report observations to the supervising SLP.
  • Work with students to develop communication skills and assist with speech-language interventions.
  • Maintain communication with staff, parents, and the educational team regarding student needs and progress.
