A school near Kenner, LA is looking to hire an Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher for a full-time role. This is an onsite position working with early childhood students.
Position Details:
Location: Near Kenner, LA
Dates: ASAP - May 16, 2025
Hours: 37.5 per week
Caseload: Itinerant, Early Childhood Centers (ages 3-5 years)
Onsite Only
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized physical education instruction tailored to students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized fitness plans.
- Work closely with teachers and staff to promote student success.
- Track student progress and adapt lessons as needed.
- Must hold a current Louisiana Teaching Certificate with a Health & Physical Education endorsement.
- Must have completed 21 semester hours in required coursework.
- Competitive hourly rate based on Louisiana guidelines.
