- Caseload:
- 1:1 position for a middle schooler. The SLI would be expected to interpret in the classroom and other educational settings for the student.
Requirements:
- Sign Language Interpreter, emphasizing the importance of certification (such as RID or NIC),
- A minimum EIPA score of 3.5, and a relevant Bachelor's degree. Additional experience in educational environments, understanding of IEPs, knowledge of various sign languages, and proficiency with assistive technologies further enhance a candidate's suitability for supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
