Certification and Licensure:
- SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER:
- MUST have an active West Virginia state Special Education certification
- MUST have moderate to severe certifications
- Bachelors or higher Degree in Special Education
- NH State Special Education Teaching Certification endorsement
- CORE SUBJECT TEACHERS
- MUST have an active West Virginia state teaching certification
- Bachelors or higher Degree in Special Education West Virginia State core subject Teaching Certification endorsement: Math, English, History, Science, and Art
Caseload:
- Provide an optimum learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with faculty and work in teams to provide instruction to students
- Follow District and State guidelines for essential learning and instructional strategies
- Adhere to West Virginia Code of Professional Conduct
