Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Washington, D.C. You will work across K-12 settings, providing essential behavioral support and expertise to help students thrive in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized behavior strategies.
- Provide consultation and direct support to staff on effective behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Analyze behavioral data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering expert guidance on behavioral goals.
- Facilitate training and workshops for school personnel on behavior management and intervention practices.
- Active BCBA certification required.
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
