We are now interviewing for a talented and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Charlotte, NC, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position will involve working with a diverse K-12 student caseload, providing services that support their growth and success in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in K-12, following their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and create tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting, evaluations, and progress updates.
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active North Carolina OT license.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
