Job Overview:
We are actively seeking multiple dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the Extended School Year (ESY) program and the 2025-2026 school year in Gages Lake, IL. In these positions, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students across all age groups, focusing on communication and language development. The role offers a summer schedule with a long weekend every week and the option to transition into a full-time position for the upcoming school year, providing continuity in services for students.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across various age groups, from early childhood to high school.
Assess students' speech and language abilities, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
Manage caseloads effectively and participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and tracking progress.
Follow the summer schedule during ESY (Monday through Thursday), with no school on Fridays. The first and last day of the program will have extended hours (8:15 AM 3:15 PM).
Requirements:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Illinois.
Experience working with students across various age groups (early childhood through high school).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
Ability to manage a caseload and adapt therapy plans to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.
