Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Provide academic, social, and emotional support to students
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff about student progress and challenges
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a Special Education teaching role
- Must meet all federal and Pennsylvania state requirements for licensing and certification
- Strong understanding of various learning disabilities and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
