Job Opportunity: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (Contract)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education in Nebraska, meeting all local and state regulations.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher, with a strong preference for experience with special education students and families.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student, providing differentiated instruction as needed.
- Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills, both in inclusive and specialized settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting students' academic and behavioral goals.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions as necessary to promote growth and achievement.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student performance, progress, and IEP goals.
