Blazer Jobs is seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to work with preschool-aged students in Beach Park, IL. This role focuses on helping students achieve developmental milestones and preparing them for successful entry into kindergarten.
Job Responsibilities :
- Implement Creative Curriculum to support student development.
- Collaborate with two additional grade-level teachers to plan and deliver lessons.
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to student needs.
- Work closely with classroom aides, speech and language teachers, occupational therapists, and social workers who push into the classroom.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
