Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time role with school districts in the Ionia, MI area. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about providing quality instruction and support to students who are deaf and hard of hearing, ensuring their academic and personal success in an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized curriculum and lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies and tools, including American Sign Language (ASL), to promote effective communication and learning.
- Create and maintain a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, special educators, and other specialists to develop comprehensive educational plans.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction to meet evolving needs.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and regularly communicate progress to parents and administration.
- Integrate technology and innovative resources to enhance learning outcomes.
