Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Full-Time
Location: Near Phoenix, AZ
School Year: August 2025 - May 2026
Pay Range: $40 - $55 per hour, based on experience
Position Details:
We are seeking a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for an itinerant role in the Phoenix, AZ area for the 2025-2026 school year.
- Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week
- Caseload: Details will be discussed during the interview
- Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement IEPs in collaboration with the educational team
- Provide specialized instruction using appropriate strategies, materials, and assistive technology
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student access to the general education curriculum
- Ensure ESS services are delivered and completed
Requirements:
- SPED Certification
- Active Arizona Teaching License
- Endorsement for Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments
- EEEI (Essential Element of Effective Instruction) preferred
- Dual certification in Visual Impairments and Orientation & Mobility preferred, but not required
