Duties
- Assist bartenders with the preparation of drinks and cocktails by gathering necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock the bar with liquor, mixers, ice, and other supplies as needed to ensure efficient service.
- Handle cash register operations and assist with transactions when required.
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from patrons to keep the area tidy.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations while performing duties.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or nightclub setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
