SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday, $15/ hr
• 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM Monday - Thursday, $16/ hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned as needed.)

• Stack and palletize ingredients by hand on to pallets.
• Weigh bags/containers and adjust quantity.
• Lift bags (20 lb. to 55 lb.) from filling machine to conveyor for sealing.
• Place bags into boxes and seal boxes with tape machine.
• Maintain clean work area at all times using brooms, brushes, water hoses, mop, etc.
• Visually inspect materials, products, and containers through each step of the process.
• Properly record information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
• Read work order and/or follow oral instructions for handling product.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on bags or boxes.
• Ability to read analog or digital clock.
• Line and pad pallets and assemble cartons.
• Label containers, container tags, or products.
• Other duties as required for safe and efficient production.

SUMMARY:

Each employee must be able to record essential information on paperwork held for government inspection. Basic math skills are required; addition and subtraction of numbers to the hundreds and hundredths place is necessary. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations will be made.

Work Location: One location
