BlendFit is a dynamic and inclusive functional fitness studio, inspired by the principles of CrossFit, focusing on helping individuals discover a better version of themselves through strength, cardio, and high-intensity functional training. As a new fitness facility, we are seeking a passionate and motivated General Manager / Head Coach to lead our operations, build our community, and foster a culture of excellence.

Position Overview

The General Manager / Head Coach will oversee all aspects of BlendFit’s daily operations, member experience, and coaching programs. This role combines leadership, coaching expertise, and operational management to ensure BlendFit becomes a thriving hub for fitness enthusiasts of all levels.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management

• Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain members, ensuring BlendFit’s growth.
• Serve as the face of the studio, fostering a welcoming and inclusive community culture.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of coaches and support staff, ensuring alignment with BlendFit’s standards and philosophy.
• Manage studio operations, including class scheduling, inventory, equipment maintenance, and facility cleanliness.

Coaching and Programming

• Design and deliver innovative, effective, and scalable workout programs suitable for all fitness levels.
• Lead daily classes, ensuring proper technique, safety, and member engagement.
• Conduct personal training sessions, providing customized fitness plans and tracking client progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends and certifications to implement the latest fitness techniques.

Sales and Marketing

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote BlendFit, including social media, community outreach, and events.
• Drive membership sales through exceptional customer service, consultations, and promotional initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence in the local fitness community, representing BlendFit at events and fostering partnerships.

Business Operations

• Track key performance metrics, including membership growth, retention rates, and revenue.
• Manage the studio’s budget, including forecasting, expense control, and payroll.
• Handle member feedback and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in a fitness leadership role (preferably in functional fitness, CrossFit, or similar environments).
• Certifications: CrossFit Level 1 or higher (preferred), NASM, ACE, or similar certifications in functional fitness and personal training.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Coaching Expertise: Deep knowledge of functional fitness techniques, scaling for all levels, and injury prevention.
• Business Acumen: Experience in sales, marketing, and managing fitness studio operations.
• Community Builder: Passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive fitness environment.
