Blessed Oasis Pet Resort is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pet Resort Maintenance Specialist. This position offers a competitive pay range of $20 - $23 per hour and a flexible schedule. This is a part-time position with our preferred schedule being Monday - Thursday (during peak season) and occasional weekend / after hours if requested by management for emergency situations only. We are open to considering a flexible schedule for the right candidate. Our pet resort is located in Fayetteville, NC.
YOUR DAY
As a Pet Resort Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include conducting monthly fence and gate inspections, repairing any fencing and gates that require attention, and performing preventive maintenance to ensure their long-term durability. You'll also be involved in simple plumbing and electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building maintenance tasks such as painting and sheetrock patchwork. By maintaining our facility in an attractive and presentable manner, you'll contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our pet guests. Note : this position is in a dog environment.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE :
- Comfort and proficiency in working with fencing and gates.
- Experience in building maintenance for an apartment complex or hotel is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fencing, painting, drywall, and carpentry
- Handyman experience - painting, pressure washing, general upkeep
- HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required
