Part-time Administrative Assistant needed to perform secretarial and clerical assignments for parish operations at Blessed Sacrament Church in Beaumont Texas. Skills necessary are proficiency in computer word processing and database programs, excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to deal with the public, and be detail oriented. Individual must be a self-starter, service oriented, able to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality. Familiarity with preparing weekly bulletin, sacramental registers, scheduling, and other daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities is necessary.
Knowledge and understanding of Catholic teachings, practices, and organizational structure is required. A High School diploma or GED and at three to five years’ experience as a secretary or related position for this 14 hour per week position is required.
