This position is responsible for providing clinical supervision, instruction, demonstration, and evaluation of certified nursing assistant (CNA) students. This position also supervises CNA students and instructs them on how to review and perform functions as prescribed by the physician, participates in student recruitment, admission, program assessment and plan of improvement and maintains confidential files.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrates behavior consistent with the ICARE standards and the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED:- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or complete instructor certification program during first 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous Clinical Instructor experience
- Possesses current State RN license.
- Basic Life Support.
- Non-Exempt Hourly
