Title: Part-Time Donation Pick-up Scheduling Associate

Position Summary
The primary job of the Donation Pick-up Scheduling Assistant is to help their supervisor pursue the mission of Blessings Abound: A faith-based not-for-profit dedicated to helping those in need through the resale and redistribution of donated items.
The Pick-up Scheduling Assistant (herein “PSA”) needs to be confident, reliable, and able to multi-task effectively. The ability to function in a team environment is essential. PSA will help with donation pick-up scheduling, answering the phone, as well as other possible duties assigned.
Primary Accountabilities
- The PSA is expected to maintain positive relations with fellow staff, volunteers and donors. It is essential that Blessings Abound maintains a healthy culture.
- The PSA is the face of and potentially the first constant from Blessings Abound for the donors. Favorable relations are essential.
- You are a critical part of Blessings Abound and the PSA needs to be timely, accurate and efficient. The ability to handle scheduling the donations, communicating to our donors and prioritizing the schedule is essential
- Participate in a highly functional team environment
Primary Tasks & Duties
- Organize and Schedule donation pickups
- Screen requests for pick-up as needed by supervisor
- Communicate effectively by text or phone with donors
- Enter information and maintain Excel spreadsheet
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor, including some periodic administrative duties

- Strong communication skills. Ability to deal with donors and other team members from all walks.

- Basic computer skills are helpful.

- A high school diploma is required.

- Reliable transportation
- Attendance is an essential function of this position
- May be involved in customer issues and complaint resolution
- This position is part-time. Approximate hours are 9am - 2pm M-F, with some flexibility.
Position Requirements
- Extended periods of time sitting at a desk. Ability to communicate via phone, email and text.
- Ability to handle a variety of personalities in a professional manner when setting up appointments
- High school diploma required
