Barista Counter Server

Bleu Door Bakery in Vancouver, WA is hiring an experienced barista/counter servers to join our team. We are located at 2411 Main Street. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. If you have been a barista or a server in a fast-paced environment and like being part of a team this may be what you are looking for.

Responsibilities include waiting on our customers, fulfilling orders, making beverages, handling cash and credit card transactions while consistently being professional, friendly, and efficient. Following company recipes for drinks.

You must have the ability to work closely with team members to create a positive work environment, have basic math skills and can handle money and a POS system, have high standards and take pride in your work, have reliable transportation, and possess a current food handlers' card.

Shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 3 - 5 days a week; weekends are a must. Part time & Full time available

We pay minimum wage but with the shared tip pool pay is typically $23-$27 an hour (after training period).

Qualifications

·      1 years previous espresso bar and/or food service experience

·      Previous POS experience.

·      Practices a consistent positive attitude.

·      Ability to work closely with team members as well as individually to create a positive work environment.

·     Ability to work weekends - a must!

·      Has a current food handler’s card.

·      Has a current alcohol server’s permit (MAST)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear for up to 8 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
