We are a homegrown, locally owned and operated, company with more than 12 years serving Vancouver. We're gearing up for summer and looking for positive and driven people to join our team. Cleanliness, a sense of urgency, and reliable transportation are a must.
Line Cooks should be able to display general knowledge of food, and provide food handling certification, six months previous experience a plus! We are a scratch kitchen featuring local ingredients. We offer seasonal menus, daily specials, caterings and special events. We work with small crews who challenge and rely on each other. We value fairness and respect; bad attitudes are not welcome.
Our hours of operation are Tuesday – Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Except for our occasional evening events you can expect to work day shifts only.

Responsibilities include:
Be proficient in all aspects of food preparation at all stations.
Provide consistency and excellence in food preparation both in quality and presentation.
Knowledgeable of regular menu and specials in all aspects and is able to prepare them.
Execute orders in a timely and accurate manner for optimal customer satisfaction and limited waste.
Is aware of the safety measures and standards of food preparation and practices them consistently.
Maintain inventory procedures as required by Kitchen Manager.
Ensure that high hygiene and sanitation is consistently followed in the kitchen
Open and close the kitchen following all opening and closing procedures.
Keep stations clean and well stocked with the ingredients required to cook the dish that they are ordered to prepare
Qualifications
*Be punctual and reliable
*Ability to work weekends: a must!
*Have transportation or be able to take public transport if needed
*Have the ability to stand 6 – 8 hours daily and lift up to 50 pounds
*Have a current Washington Food Handlers Permit
