Unarmed Security

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, the Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our property, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security with a focus on conflict management and security.

Duties:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to ensure that all areas are secure and free of potential threats.

- Respond promptly to all alarms and security incidents, providing immediate assistance and support to ensure the safety of everyone on site.

-Report any suspicious behavior or incident to the local authorities.

-Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

- Maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.

- Use conflict management skills to handle any disputes or confrontations that may arise on site.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, visitors, and the local community to ensure that security protocols are understood and respected.

- Conduct regular training and drills to ensure that security protocols are effective and up-to-date.

Experience Preferred but not required:

- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a security, military, or law enforcement role.
- Proven ability to manage conflicts and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

Skills Preferred:
- Valid LA Guard License

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
