What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Team Leader position at BLG Logistics, Inc?
- Manage first shift Cycle Count and 999 Team Members
- Investigate inventory discrepancies
- Communicate/coordinate with customer on cycle count needs
- Log and document all searches and maintain KPIs
- Perform audits (Process, 5S, Standard Work)
- Prepare, train, and confirm standardized work. Modify SWS to suit the consensus condition; escalate any concerns.
- Ensure operators understand TPM checks for process. Ensure downtime logged for relevant equipment.
- Monitor processes known to having ongoing quality issues and audit quality key points as part of daily SWS audits. Take part in problem solving activities to eliminate top 5 issues.
- Ensure tracking board completed, calculate findings and display on Team Board.
- Ensure training records and versatility is up to date, use SWS audits to check operator on process is fully trained. Ensure operator rotation is controlled to plan.
- Respond to Andon calls and manage the problem, by preventing the issue affecting the customer and containment.
- Record ideas for improvement. Present new issues and feedback to team on actions due for review.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Monday- Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; Occasionally one Saturday out of the Month
