BLH Technologies, Inc., an award-winning company specializing in public health, research, and communications solutions for Federal and commercial clients, is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to support Federal clients, including those within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of public health research and communications projects, including literature reviews, audience research, and report development. Previous experience directing project teams, overseeing budgets, managing project scope, and facilitating client communications is required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and milestones.
· Research Oversight: Work with BLH evaluation specialists to manage all aspects of research projects, including study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Team Coordination: Collaborate with all team members, including researchers, data analysts, and public health specialists, to promote a healthy work environment and ensure project objectives are met.
· Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards in research methodologies, data collection, and analysis.
· Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks and challenges that may impact project success.
· Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and present findings to clients.
· Compliance: Ensure that all research activities adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
· Communications Support: Lead the team's efforts to develop communication tools, reports, dissemination materials, and other such products.
Qualifications:
· Master's or Ph.D. in Public Health or a related field.
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
· Minimum of five years of experience directing projects and overseeing staff and budgets.
· Proven experience in managing public health research projects, including study design, data collection, and analysis.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Experience with business development (preferred).
