Your Role...
Overall Purpose and Main Objectives:
The Supervisor will be pivotal in overseeing the operations of the Utrecht Manufacturing Corporation (UMC) Galesburg facilities. This role includes providing technical expertise and training support to enhance the manufacturing and custom services business objectives. The supervisor will be expected to competently run all equipment and perform all operations across the entire spectrum of production stations, including custom frames, stretched canvas, and printing services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance to all Loss Prevention measures and company Policies & Procedures
- Effectively communicate all issues to management to maintain a high level of operational throughput.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Process all production orders in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
- Develop plans and working habits for meeting goals for production, material yield, inventory control, equipment downtime, and other KPI’s that measure the success and profitability of the Utrecht Manufacturing Corporation business.
- All other assigned duties as directed by members of the Management Team.
- Set up and maintain equipment as needed and as per manufacturers’ guidelines.
- Supervise and assign duties to the production shop staff in the absence of the Manager.
- Train new associates on equipment and processes of the shop.
- Responsible for associate performance reviews.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure production schedules are maintained.
Pay Rate The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
- $50,000-54,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, plus incentives
