We're looking for a CNC Laser Operator to operate the CNC laser cutting machine and/or CNC Punch and support the production team by assembling parts, operating other machinery, and learning aspects of CNC Laser programming as instructed by supervisors.
Essential Job Functions:
- Setup and operate laser cutting systems
- Select proper cutting programs and proper fixtures.
- Establish proper stop location adjust the laser beam focal point.
- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
- Ensure all products adhere to the production specifications of the customer.
- Help at other workstations as needed
Education Experience & Skills:
- 2 years laser cutting experience required - some programming preferred
- Previous CAD experience and strong computer knowledge
- Good communication skills (verbal & written), Keyboarding
- Basic math knowledge
- Experience with sheet metal and metal fabrication processes
- Forklift training and/or experience is an asset.
