WINDOW SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Primary Objectives of the Window Service Technician
- The Window Service Technician is responsible for servicing windows and doors onsite at clients’ homes/businesses. Will be required to drive company vehicle. While on site, the service technician must be able to diagnose, appropriately explain and document issues and solutions to homeowners, contractors, developers, or architects.
Primary Responsibilities of the Window Service Technician
- Responsible for adjusting, replacing parts and pieces, performing water tests, taking measurements, and documenting all work performed both written and through imaging.
- Responsible for driving to locations as dictated by pre-set appointments according to territory assigned.
- Requisitioning parts from internal supplier necessary to perform field service work.
- Communicating effectively via service tech portal after every job
- Performing site inspections to determine appropriate action.
- Work effectively with service scheduler to ensure jobs are completed daily.
- Protect company values by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Responsible for following and enforcing all safety rules and policies as outlined by and communicated by Bliffert Lumber management.
- Act as our store’s representative and provide exceptional customer service.
- Reports injuries immediately to Manager
- Additional job responsibilities to be determined by Manager.
Requirements of the Window Service Technician
- Prefer 1-2 years of window/door service experience but can train
- Reports to the Operations manager
- Lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Daily travel to predetermined locals
- Good Work Ethic
- Ability to be self- driven and work independently.
- Valid driver's license and able to complete Fed Med certification.
- This vacancy is for Madison and the surrounding areas.
Travel:
This role does require daily travel to customers, jobsites, and company meetings via company vehicle.
