We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, managing communications, and assisting with various tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing benefits administration, including annual and new hire enrollment, terminations, benefit changes, benefit invoicing, claims resolution, and monthly benefit reconciliations
- Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel (including managerial levels and above); and helps to coordinate the use of temporary employees
- Coordinates new hire orientations; administers pre-employment tests, conducts reference checks; meets with new employees to complete required paperwork, cover benefits, employee handbook policies and procedures
- Assist in maintaining Human Resources records, new hires, terminations, and employee changes, and create and maintain reports from the Paycom database as needed
- Maintains company organization charts and employee directory
- Assists with data gathering and spreadsheet preparation for Human Resource projects as assigned
- Assists with the annual performance review process
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
- Requires some prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources
- Prior experience with a Human Resources database is a plus
- Knowledge of benefits/payroll administration required
REASONING ABILITIES & LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, which may include reports and presentations
- Ability to evaluate information and the implications of a course of action or solution
- Ability to interpret and apply understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

- Ability to solve problems and deal with various situations
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
