Barista/Food Prep/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will contribute to an exceptional experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions.
• Upsell food products and pastry are must
• Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to enhance their experience.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
• Experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
