Janitor/Cleaner (Part-Time)

The Janitor/Cleaner role is a Part-Time position. The hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 2:00pm. This role will perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning duties to keep all three of the Blink buildings, including offices and warehouses clean and organized. The locations include one in Perrysburg and two in Toledo.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
• General cleaning of the buildings and keeping them maintained and in good condition.
• Ensure bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc.) are stocked.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, etc.
• Notify management when building needs major repair(s).
• Dust all services and wash/clean windows.
• Shampoo and clean carpet and rugs as needed.
• Use equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Clean up spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash in the proper manner.
• Ensures the facility is locked after hours.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are fully stock.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must be able to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Must have high integrity, great attention to detail; and be dependable.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma
• Prior cleaning and janitorial experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work standing, walking, bending, reaching and stooping (Frequently)
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds (Occasionally)
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Salary : $17 - $20
