Blink Marketing Logistics is looking for a Social Media Coordinator. The position will be on-site and located at the main headquarters in Perrysburg, OH. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Social Media Coordinator supports the development and execution of social media strategies for Blink and its clients, ensuring content aligns with brand goals and engages target audiences. This role focuses on creating and posting content, monitoring performance, and assisting with campaigns to grow online presence. The Social Media Coordinator works collaboratively with internal teams and clients to maintain a strong brand presence across social platforms.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,
Social Media Execution
- Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
- Assist in implementing social media strategies for Blink and client accounts.
- Manage day-to-day activities on social platforms, including posting, scheduling, monitoring and analyzing content.
- Collaborate with team to create a social media calendar.
- Support multi-channel campaigns under the guidance of senior team members.
Content Creation & Curation
- Create and edit social media content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.
- Collaborate with other departments including marketing, sales, and customer service to align social media efforts with overall brand messaging.
- Stay updated on social media trends to suggest fresh ideas for campaigns.
- Ensure all social media activities adhere to legal and ethical standards and the company's policies and procedures.
Community Management
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with followers to foster community growth and maintain a positive brand presence.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track basic social media performance metrics using analytics tools.
- Compile and present data to senior team members to help refine strategies.
Client Collaboration
- Assist the marketing team in fulfilling client social media needs.
- Prepare drafts of performance reports and gather insights for client meetings.
- Professional Development
- Stay informed about social media best practices, tools, and platform updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
AUTHORITY & AUTONOMY:
- Execute assigned tasks independently while adhering to guidelines and strategies set by senior team members.
- Suggest creative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Respond to social media interactions within established brand guidelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Exceptional communication skills in person, via email, phone, and virtual platforms like Teams.
- Strong creative skills with experience in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic understanding of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Solid grasp of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Ability to understand and interpret data from social media analytics platforms to measure campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in social media, marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in basic graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, brand, or organization.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Premiere Pro) for creating short social videos.
- Experience managing multiple social accounts or campaigns.
- Basic knowledge of SEO or content optimization techniques.
