Overall, the Senior Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving business growth, expanding market presence, driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, revenue growth through strategic marketing initiatives, and creating strategic opportunities for the company to achieve its objectives.


Reporting

Working closely with and reporting to the Vice President of Blink.


Responsibilities


  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets. This involves conducting market research, analyzing consumer trends, and identifying opportunities for market expansion.
  • Brand Management: Defining and maintaining the organization's brand identity, positioning, and messaging. Ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials to strengthen brand equity and recognition.
  • Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives: Planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, email, and events. Monitoring campaign performance and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborating with product management teams to develop and execute product marketing strategies. This includes conducting market analysis, defining target audiences, and creating compelling messaging and positioning for products or services.
  • Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition: Driving lead generation efforts to attract and acquire new customers or clients. Implementing strategies to increase brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Content Strategy and Development: Overseeing the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics. Ensuring that content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with the organization's marketing goals.
  • Digital Marketing and Online Presence: Managing digital marketing channels, including website, social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and online advertising. Optimizing digital marketing efforts to increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement: Utilizing data analytics tools and metrics to track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and using insights to inform decision-making and optimize marketing strategies.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Developing and managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives. Prioritizing investments in areas that drive the greatest impact and contribute to business growth.
  • Market Research and Customer Insights: Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Gathering customer feedback and insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience improvements.
  • Public Relations and Corporate Communications: Overseeing public relations efforts to enhance the organization's reputation, manage crises, and build positive relationships with stakeholders, including media, investors, customers, and partners.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Building and leading a high-performing marketing team. Providing direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster their growth and success.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with other departments, such as sales, product management, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts with overall business objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, such as customer success, account management, or sales.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English
  • Flexibility in work schedule (i.e. evenings and weekends if necessary) and willingness to travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a client success role within the industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of customer success best practices and methodologies.
  • Experience working with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) products or subscription-based services.
  • Familiarity with customer success tools and CRM software is a plus (Intercom, HubSpot, Consensus, Loom, Etc)
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Certification in customer success or related fields.
  • Understanding of data analytics and the ability to derive insights from customer data.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
  • These preferred qualifications are not mandatory but would be beneficial for the role and may give candidates an advantage during the selection process.
