This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic and prolific indie studio, reporting directly to the President of Brand Studios and operating in both north and south of the 49th parallel.
Role Description
This is a full-time position in a remote-to-start environment located in New York City, NY. The Brand Partnerships Director will bring a strong background in media, branded content, and digital advertising sales. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in brand advertising, media sales, and business development, with experience selling to senior executives within Fortune 1000 companies and top advertising agencies.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying client challenges and delivering high-value solutions through strategic account management.
- Represent Blink49’s mission, values, and offerings in the market.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of business targets, contacts, and opportunities.
- Ensure brand objectives and guidelines are met across all executions.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers at brands and agencies.
- Uncover clients need and craft creative, multi-platform solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for premium direct brand and agency partnerships.
- Respond to RFPs and lead strategic Upfront partnerships.
- Provide market insights to refine product offerings and sales strategies.
- Offer feedback to internal teams on customer needs to shape go-to-market plans.
- Proactively brainstorm new ways for third-party brands to partner with Blink49 Studios across multiple business segments.
- Develop annual and quarterly partnership strategies aligned with content release schedules and business objectives.
- Collaborates closely with the President of Brand Studios to identify global opportunities as well to share learnings and creative ideas for global markets to leverage.
- Work cross-functionally with Scripted and Unscripted development stakeholders to build partnerships across current and future productions.
- Track and report on partnership performance, providing actionable insights to improve future deals.
- Will require some business travel.
Qualifications
- Strong track record in building and scaling account lists or regions.
- Experience in entertainment, media production, or content creation industries
- Experience in engaging with C-level executives.
- Expertise in selling and executing integrated content campaigns.
- Extensive knowledge of content marketing, digital media, and mobile marketing.
- Existing relationships with top marketing decision makers.
- Strong ability to prospect, generate leads, and close deals.
- Proven history of exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
