To provide a variety of efficient services to the Executive Dean -RELLIS Campus.
Required Quals Summary
High School Diploma or Associates Degree. 3-5 years administrative support experience. Practical and working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook; excellent verbal and written communication skills; maintain confidentiality.

This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Principal Accountabilities
1. Receive incoming visitors and calls – by providing information and answering questions/requests from visitors, employees, and students and directing to appropriate resources.
2. Plan and coordinate professional meetings and conferences – by organizing events and setting up travel arrangements.
3. Monitor inventory and purchasing – by verifying budget balances, budget transfers, and preparing purchase requisitions.
4. Coordinate the Executive Dean’s calendar – by entering events, checking availability, and sending calendar invitations.
5. Ensure that printers, copiers, and other office equipment are “user ready” – by stocking and replenishing paper, printer cartridges, etc.
6. Assist employees with initiating and submitting maintenance and information technologies request forms.
7. Work with Executive Dean to maintain effective and efficient office processes.
8. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
9. Effectively communicate and monitor incoming and outgoing emails.
10. Assist in coordinating and planning events that utilize Blinn facilities at Texas A&M-RELLIS.
11. Handle confidential information appropriately, as needed.
12. Other duties as assigned.

9. Keep up-to-date on technical skills in order to apply new knowledge to job tasks.
10. Meet all deadlines and directives of the Executive Dean.
