What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty- Dual Credit Mathematics Brazos Christian position at Blinn College?
Perform part-time operations of the instructional program at Brazos Christian.
Essential Duties
Teach courses among MATH – 1314, 1316, 1324, 1325, 1332, 1342, 1350, 1351, 2305, 2318, 2320, 2412, 2413, 2414, 2415 as needed by Brazos Christian in alignment with departmental, College, and State requirements
Maintain office hours as defined by Blinn College
Prepare course syllabus which shall include stated objectives for the course, following departmental and curriculum resource team requirements.
Stay current on developments regarding instructional methodology
Maintain and provide, through the proper modalities, a grade evaluation on each student’s performance in a timely fashion with the frequency required by Blinn College and in alignment with College and departmental requirements.
Perform other Mathematics program related tasks and attend part-time faculty meetings as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Maintain office hours as defined by Blinn College

Training or coursework in mathematics pedagogy
Physical Requirements Required Degree, License or Certifications
Training or coursework in mathematics pedagogy
Master’s degree or higher with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics
