Teach lecture and studio courses within ARTS program on a part-time basis.

Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in arts.

Preferred Experience And Training
1- Ability to teach Art Appreciation, Art History, and Art studio courses in a face to face modality.
2- College level teaching experience desirable

Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in arts.

Essential Duties
- Teach art classes as assigned by the Department Head, Assistant Dean or Dean.
- Instruct courses at various times and locations of the Blinn College District.
- Maintain access to students through regular office hours and electronic communication.
- Prepare course syllabus using guidelines established by the Blinn College District.
- Assess courses taught using guidelines established by the Blinn College District.
- Conduct annual professional development activities to maintain current knowledge of effective teaching methodologies, delivery methods, classroom media, and educational resources.
- Evaluate students' performance and keep students informed of there progress in a timely manner.
- Provides recommendations to the Academic Dean, Assistant Dean, Department Heads, and Curriculum Resource Team regarding curriculum, where possible.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional relationship with students, colleagues, college administration, and the community.
- Submit timely college reports and forms to the appropriate divisions/departments, when required.
- Attends college orientation and required institutional meetings.
- Timely completion of training required by the Blinn College District.
- Other duties as assigned.
