Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice at Bliss Dental. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with patient documentation using digital practice management software.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is an advantage.
• Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and the use of dental software systems is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate medical records.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing exceptional patient care is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
