Baker Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked items, ensuring quality and consistency in every product.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, breads, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistent quality and taste.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet catering orders and special requests.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times.

Skills

• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including baking and pastry skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
• Experience in cake decorating and presentation is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for culinary arts.
• Previous experience in food production or catering is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of baked goods for service.
