We’re seeking a Game Producer focused on Live Technical Operations to help manage our fast-paced, multi-patch development environment. This role is all about coordinating the technical and operational work between the Engineering, QA, and external technical teams to deliver high-quality live updates and patches. You’ll own planning, tracking, issue triage, and communication with internal and regional teams while supporting live service needs around the clock.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some from home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordinating game launches, patches, and service updates in partnership with senior producers and the technical team.
- Be the main point of contact and communication facilitator between the two technical teams, one at Netease located in China and one at Blizzard in the US.
- Helped manage and track technical roadmaps and projects with the engineering team.
- Assist in the issue triage and submission process during release cycles.
- Communicate patch timelines, key dates, and blockers to relevant stakeholders clearly and proactively.
- Regularly sync with team leads to provide status updates on live content, deployments, and ongoing risks.
- Serve as a point of contact for regional teams on live service concerns, escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead to serve as a point of contact for technical concerns and projects, both internal and external.
- Participate in infrastructure and publishing discussions to stay aligned on release readiness.
- Be part of the live support rotation and contribute to issue resolution when service-impacting problems arise.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on live software services in a producer, project manager, or similar role.
- Proven ability to develop, manage, and maintain complex schedules efficiently.
- Strong track record of driving projects to successful and timely completion.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to both key stakeholders and the broader team.
- Solid understanding of game development processes and project management principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of the project are carefully managed.
- Experience with engineering, tools, or technical production.
- Passion for action RPGs and gaming in general.
- Previous experience working on mobile game development or live-service mobile games.
- Chinese proficiency, especially technical terms, as one of the bonus criteria.
