What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quarry Plant Manager position at BLK Quarries, Inc.?
BLK Quarries is looking for a Quarry Plant Manager for our Greenbrier location. We offer pay based on experience, health insurance, and paid vacation.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of plant management experience in the aggregate industry
- Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations with a current MSHA certification
- Lead and manage all safety efforts at the plant as well as site planning, pit development, quality control, and maintenance on plant
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and capable of developing and maintaining good relationships with company and regulatory agency personnel
- Strong Leadership skills, possess the ability to lead, manage and motivate
- Proven track record for safety, production, and quality
- Maintain a valid Driver's License
- Ability to work 10 hours per day at least five days a week on site
- Ability to walk over uneven terrain of outside plant locations and conduct routine inspections
- Ability to climb ladders and steps up to 50 feet high
- Able to lift objects of approximately 45 lbs and carry for up to 50 feet

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
